Founder and CEO
Mr. Nguyen has over 25 years of engineering, operations, and business development experience in the MEMS and semiconductor industry. Before founding DunAn Sensing, Mr. Nguyen served as the Executive Director of Engineering and Operations at S3C, Inc., a subsidiary of the Nagano Keiki group of companies and a leading manufacturer of industrial and automotive pressure sensors. Prior to S3C, Inc., he was a founder of AVsensors, a MEMS pressure sensor company, and a co-founder of Celerity Research, a high-speed test-interface company. Mr. Nguyen also held a variety of business development and management positions at Invensense, Merit Sensor Systems, GE NovaSensor, Integrated Sensor Solutions, and ICSensors where he designed and developed many of the pressure sensors and accelerometer, transmitter and transducer products.
Mr. Nguyen has published several technical papers related to testing and probing of high-density and high pin count semiconductor devices and reliability testing for the automotive industry. He is the author or co-author of 10 patents on wafer probe test technology and MEMS pressure sensor packaging.
VP, Business Development
Mr. Salvioni is a veteran of the semiconductor industry with almost 30 years of experience. He has held various positions in silicon manufacturing and product engineering management at Texas Instrument. Over the last 16 years, he has been VP/GM of UTC America, Salland Engineering, and EEMS Asia–all leaders in semiconductor assembly and test. He brings extensive international business experience and proven ability to work effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
Mr. Salvioni has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico of Milan, Italy.
Director, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Winzeler has been in the sensor business for over 30 years. Mr. Winzeler started his sensor career at Foxboro/ICT as an engineer and was quickly drafted into applications engineering. He held various Sales/Marketing positions and led business development initiatives at various sensor companies such as Foxboro/ICT, ICSensors and NovaSensor. He was also a founder of a Sales Rep company – SenTech Measurements. SenTech represented over 20 sensor manufacturing companies for physical measurement products. SenTech had 5 offices covering sales for California, Arizona, and New Mexico.
Mr. Winzeler has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California.
Director, New Product Development
Mr. Do brings over 15 years of experience in product design, test-system design and technical management in the medical, industrial and automotive industries. Prior to DunAn Sensing, Mr. Do held a variety of engineering and management positions at St. Jude Medical, Tyco Healthcare, GE Sensing and S3C, Inc., where he designed and developed many of MEMS pressure sensors, oxygen sensors, accelerometers and products for the medical, automotive and industrial industries. He also served as the primary technological source for the development of MEMS sensor products and applications.
Director, Finance and HR
Ms. Tran brings to DunAn Sensing over six years of experience in finance and accounting. Before joining DunAn Sensing she was with S3C where her experience includes directing all financial affairs for the organization and where she was responsible for all financial statement and accounting. She also has extensive experience in working with Professional Employer Organization providers to support all aspects of human resources for the company, and additional experience in HR leadership, purchasing and logistics of high-volume production lines in the US and abroad. In addition to serving as a Finance Manager and an HR professional in the private sector, she specializes in executive coaching, organizational development and team building.
Ms. Tran has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California.
Mr. Khan brings over 15 years of experience in the field of quality and reliability. He has led several companies to achieve ISO9001, IS017025 and DLA Mil-STD certifications. Prior to joining DunAn Sensing, he was affiliated with Power Integrations, Tyco Electronics, and Advance Micro Devices, where he was responsible for almost all quality functions including quality management system, supplier quality, customer quality, product quality, and product reliability.
Mr. Khan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. He is a certified Quality Engineer and certified Quality Auditor by the American Society for Quality.
Director, New Product Development
Mr. Bergstrom is an innovative, experienced MEMS sensor technologist with 20 years’ experience managing sensor product development, ASIC & MEMS design, MEMS process development, product validation, test development for high volume manufacturing for automotive and consumer products (gas sensor, pressure, humidity, accelerometer, GYRO, thermopile, and mass flow). Prior to joining Dunan Sensing, he was the manager and technical lead for the Mobile Sensing Group at Integrated Device Technology, where he led the development of a digital gas- indoor air quality sensor for mobile sensing applications. Prior to IDT, he was the R&D manager for EG&G Heimann Optoelectronics located in Singapore where he managed a joint accelerometer development project between the Institute of MicroElectronics (IME) and EG&G Heimann Optoelectronics. In 1989, he joined Kionix, Inc. where he led the development of a tri-axis accelerometer which resulted in the product introduction into cellphones for gesture recognition and screen rotation. He has published numerous papers and been awarded 8 patents, all related to sensor design and MEMS process technology for pressure sensors, inertial sensors, and gas sensors.
